A family rooted in the prestigious Grande Champagne cru, classified Premier Cru of the Cognac region since 1815, at the end of Napoleon's First Empire
To date, the vineyards cover approximately 80 hectares and are all located in Grande Champagne, classified Premier Cru of the Cognac region. It has still been run by the same family of wine growers and distillers for over two centuries now.
All wines are distilled exclusively on the properties in copper stills and according to the traditional Charentaise method. The collected eau-de-vie is left to age in Limousin oak barrels where the slow action of time gives birth to these wonderful cognacs and pineaux des charentes.
Maison Ménard produces several qualities of Pineaux des Charentes
