Brand Beaulon Cognac
Erected in 1480, the Château was acquired in 1560 by the de Beaulon family, a name retained to this day. It rises not far from the famous Gironde estuary, halfway between the confluence of the Dordogne and Garonne rivers and the coasts of the Atlantic Ocean.
This family made the Château available to the Bishops of Bordeaux, and they developed the vineyard in such a way that nowadays the vineyard extends over 90 ha under the main impetus of its new owner since 1965.
The vineyard is planted with Folle Blanche, Colombard and Montils, traditional 16th century grape varieties. This grape variety is rare and gives Cognac and Pineau des Charentes unique olfactory and taste nuances.
Château de Beaulon produces several qualities of Cognac and Pineau des Charentes
