Brand Drappier

If the vine was first planted in Urville by the Gallo-Romans 2000 years ago, it was Saint Bernard, founder of the Abbey of Clairvaux who had the cellars of the house built in 1152.

Seven centuries later, in 1808, it was around this wonderfully preserved medieval testimony, where cuvées sleep, that the family estate was created, now managed by Michel Drappier. Home to Pinot Noir, a grape variety that "runs in our veins", it is in Urville that the vineyard was planted, cultivated according to organic and natural principles.
